The masters

Anyone who wants to become a great Mebuly trainer has to face the masters. Each master fights with a team of strong Mebulys built around one type. Beat a master and you earn their medal. Your profile has room for nine medals – five masters can be challenged right now.

The order

1. マスターニボリ in Meadow Docks – フライト Mebulys
2. コハナ in Root Grove – 葉 Mebulys
3. ナミ先生 in Wave Crest – 水 Mebulys
4. イシュ様 in the Pyramid – 石 and 大地 Mebulys
5. マスター・シベイト in the Electric Cave – 電気の Mebulys

The order more or less sorts itself out: the first medal opens the way to Route 2 and the Apple Farm, the second opens the path out of the forest to the Thorn Path and on into the desert. The third starts the quests that lead you to イシュ様 and マスター・シベイト – which of the two you challenge first is up to you.

Preparing for battle

• Bring a full team of five Mebulys. One strong Mebuly on its own will not beat a master – train several of them evenly instead.
• Bet on the right types. Each master's page tells you which types work well against their team and which ones to leave at home.
• Heal your team at the Healer first and pack healing potions, mana potions and an elixir of life (Items in battle). The Healer does not restore energy – for that you need mana potions or a little patience.
• Check your attacks: four well-chosen attacks are often worth more than a few extra levels (Learning attacks).
