Controls
All default keys for movement, windows and battle, plus mouse and gamepad – and how to change the key bindings yourself.

You control Mebula with keyboard and mouse or with a gamepad. Under Settings → Control you can assign two keys to every action. If a gamepad is connected, a third column for a gamepad button appears.
Default keys in the world
- Arrow keys or W A S D – walk
- Space – interaction: talk to the NPC in front of you and click through speech bubbles
- Enter – OK / confirm
- Esc – close the topmost window; if none is open, the settings open
- Shift – quick menu
- C character · T team · B bag · L quest log · M map · O library · F friends · P PvP
- Q – use the cloud (premium) · F1 – reposition the camera
- Not assigned by default, but free to assign: “focus chat” and “Cancel / Back”
In battle
- 1, 2, 3, 4 – attack 1 to 4
- Arrow keys or W A S D and Enter – select and confirm in the battle menu
- Esc or Space – close windows in battle, for example the battle results
Mouse
- Click on a free spot: your character walks there. This also works with a click on the minimap.
- Click on an NPC or player: they get selected. NPCs react to your click; for players you get options such as profile, challenge, whisper, send a gift or add as friend.
- Alt+Y – hide and show the interface
Gamepad
Connect your gamepad and press any button on it once so that the browser detects it. Under Settings → Control you see all detected gamepads. Assign a gamepad button to every action there – nothing is assigned by default. With “show gamepad cursor” you display a pointer that you move with the direction, OK and back buttons.
