イワゴン

A tough nut of the 石 and 大地 types: イワゴン evolves from コイシ, and many opponents break their teeth on its shell.

Role in your team

イワゴン is a defender through and through: its defense is among the best 15 of all Mebulys, the rest is average – only its Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) is very weak. With 石の皮 from level 20 it heals itself and lasts even longer.

Type matchups

Its second type, 大地, makes イワゴン immune to 電気の attacks – an advantage against the many Mebulys of that type in the Electric Cave area. 葉, 水 and マシーン attacks remain dangerous, though. With 転がる from level 28 it gets a risky attack: it does not always hit, but it often lands critical hits.
