Trainers
All over the world, trainers and their Mebulys are waiting for a battle. They give experience and silver – every single day.

Trainers are characters with their own team of Mebulys: hikers, vacationers, photographers, researchers, teenagers, scouts, archeologists and many more. You meet them on almost every route and in many places – from the first islands all the way into the Electric Cave. The table below shows how many trainers there are in each area and what level their Mebulys have.
Challenged to a battle
Many trainers talk to you as soon as you get too close – and the battle starts right away. Others you have to talk to yourself and click “challenge”. A trainer's Mebulys belong to them: you cannot seal them, and you cannot run away from trainer battles either.
You can challenge every trainer once a day for free. If you want to fight them again on the same day, they offer you “challenge again” – for 1 to 10 gold, depending on the trainer. The next day, the battle is free again.
Why trainers are worth it
- Silver: Of all battles, only trainer battles pay silver – wild Mebulys don't pay any. With premium you get 20% more.
- Experience: Many trainers have several Mebulys, and each one you defeat gives your team experience (Experience and levels).
- Quests and missions: Many tasks ask you to defeat a certain number of trainers in an area (All quests). The BITMEUP missions count your wins as well (BITMEUP Missions).
Special trainers
Some trainers are part of the story: right at the start, Daisuke and Maestrul Shin put you to the test on the starting island, and later opponents such as the captain wait for you in the shipwreck on Route 9. The strongest trainers are the five masters – beat one and you earn a medal (The masters).
