モグモ

モグモ is a laid-back glutton of the 普通 type: huge health reserves, strong paws – and its very own quest line all about apples.

In battle

モグモ is built like a fortress: its health and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are among the ten highest of all Mebulys, and its attack is among the 20 strongest. It is slow, though, and its normal defense is weak. ジャンプヒット from level 20 has a very high crit rate, and ファイアパンチ from level 24 adds a 火 attack – handy against Mebulys of the 葉, 氷 and マシーン types.

Catching and quest line

In the wild, モグモ is a rarity: on the Apple Farm map it appears only very rarely (level 15–17). The quest line that starts on Route 4 is easier to plan: deliver a huge pile of apples there and earn your second medal, and at the end you face a wild モグモ (level 25) on the Spider Lake map – seal it, but whatever you do, don't defeat it. Afterwards, a daily quest on Route 4 lets you lure it again, and you then receive it directly at level 30.
