Volcano Island

An active volcano bubbles beneath this island. Researchers study its cave – and the fire and rock Mebulys that live there.

West of Central Island, the path leads down into the Volcano Cave with its glowing lava lake. Researchers are hard at work everywhere; the trainers here are level 3 to 7. A healer looks after you right inside the volcano.

Tasks: The researchers want you to chase away Glødi and Kisli and to deliver documents to the team in the cave. After that, researcher Kurumi keeps coming up with new jobs – from the lava lake to an apple delivery. They earn you reputation with the Researchers (see Reputation).

Mebulys: You'll often meet Kisli, Spurvi and Glødi, now and then Fossi and Glotroll. Smellos and Glovirvel are rare, Glovalp very rare. None of this island's Mebulys of type Brann can be found anywhere else in the wild.

Merchant: A merchant selling fire crystals (Brennende krystall) only shows up now and then – and only if you are at least “friendly” with the Firelords.

Wild Mebulys

Mebuly	Type	Levels	Frequency
Kisli	stein	Level 1–7	common
Spurvi	flygning	Level 2–4	common
Glødi	Brannjord	Level 3–5	common
Fossi	steinflygning	Level 3–5	occasional
Glotroll	Brann	Level 5–7	occasional
Smellos	Brann	Level 2–6	rare
Glovirvel	Brann	Level 4–7	rare
Glovalp	Brann	Level 2–6	very rare

Frequency is only a rough guide. How often a Mebuly shows up also depends on where exactly you walk in the area.
