Glødi

Small, dainty and hard to crack: Glødi, a Brann and jord Mebuly from the volcano island, is a rewarding first catch.

Glødi liker spesielt et varmt lavamiljø. Her kan han uforstyrret leke med ild og streife rundt i området. Selv om han ser mer petite ut, kan han forsvare seg veldig bra.

In battle

Glødi's big strength is its defense – one of the highest in the whole game. Normal hits barely scratch it, and it handles Ki attacks (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) reasonably well too. Dealing damage is another story: its attack and especially its Ki attack are low. With glødende ball and ildkule it can set enemies on fire so they keep taking damage over time, and regenererende flamme heals it. Attacks of the elektrisk type have no effect on Glødi at all.

Where to find it and evolution

Glødi is a common sight on the map Volcano Island, usually at a low level – a perfect first target for a Svak krystall. From level 32 you can evolve it into Glopanser, an ancient giant that is even tougher but very slow.
