Protection spells

Protection spells keep all wild Mebulys away from you for a set number of steps – perfect when you just want to reach your destination.

How they work

Use a protection spell from your bag: for the next steps, no wild Mebuly will attack you. There are five strengths, from Słabe Zaklęcie Ochrony (100 steps) to Mistyczne Zaklęcie Ochrony (20,000 steps). The “Protection” display in the game window shows how many steps you have left.

Spells stack: if you use another one, its steps are simply added on top.

Ending protection early

Changed your mind and want to fight or catch a Mebuly after all? Click the “Protection” display and confirm. The protection ends at once and any remaining steps are lost. You can't do this in the middle of a fight.

Good to know

Every step counts – even in towns and on paths where no wild Mebulys live. So only cast the spell when you are really heading out.
Trainers aren't impressed by the spell: anyone who wants to challenge you will still talk to you.
While the protection lasts, you also won't meet any Mebulys you want to catch or need to chase away for a quest.

Where to get them

Merchants sell protection spells – the farther you get on your journey, the stronger they are. The weakest is already on sale on Central Island, the strongest, Mistyczne Zaklęcie Ochrony, only in Dusty Town. Now and then you also get protection spells as quest rewards or from the Login Bonus.
