Travel and paths
On foot, by balloon, chakra or teleporter: this is how you get around Mebula – and how new paths open up along the way.

On foot
You walk with the arrow keys or W, A, S, D – or with a gamepad (see Controls). Areas connect seamlessly: follow a path to the edge of the map or step onto a bridge or into a cave entrance, and you arrive in the neighbouring area. Along the way you run into wild Mebulys, and many trainers talk to you as soon as you get close (see Wild Mebulys and Trainers). Each area page lists its connections in the profile box.
The balloon: off the starting island
Your adventure starts on Central Island. The only way to the mainland is the balloon in the north of the island. Mästare Shin clears the way once you have finished his starter quests and beaten him in “Outdoing the master”. The balloon lands on Route 1 – and can take you back to the islands at any time.
Paths that open later
- You can only climb the Master Hill in Meadow Docks after the quest “Masterly absence” – until then, a crowd blocks the way.
- After you beat Mästare Nibori, the scouts clear the road from Meadow Docks to Route 2, and the signs between Route 1 and the Apple Farm disappear.
- After you beat Kohana, a group of shadowy figures at the Forest Exit finally lets you pass to Route 5 – Thorn Path.
Travelling faster
- Chakra and Summoners: Attune your chakra at a Summoner and return there for free – once every 30 minutes.
- Teleporters: Repair the teleporters of the four towns through quests and jump between them – for 10 gold per trip.
- Cloud: With Premium you float through the world on a cloud – 100% faster, according to the game. Without Premium, the character rune Snabbare löpning helps: it makes you walk 10% faster (Runes).
