コガニ

コガニ is a small crab of the 水 type that scuttles across your path right at the start on the islands – with a shell that can take quite a lot.

海の中では、コガニは水がとても透明で純粋なので、友達や敵とはしゃぐのが本当に楽しいので、とても快適に感じます。

In battle

コガニ is a defender: its defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are both among the best 25 of all Mebulys. Its attack and especially its Ki attack are weak, though. With 癒しの源 from level 20 it can heal itself and get through long battles. Keep it away from 葉 and 電気の attacks, though.

Where to find it

コガニ is common on the Central Island map and the Green Island map – ideal for your first catching attempts, for which a 弱い結晶 is all you need. Later you can find it occasionally on Route 8 – Beach. From level 32 it evolves into カニオー.
