Kaato

Kaato is a small crab of the maji type that scuttles across your path right at the start on the islands – with a shell that can take quite a lot.

In battle

Kaato is a defender: its defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are both among the best 25 of all Mebulys. Its attack and especially its Ki attack are weak, though. With chanzo cha uponyaji from level 20 it can heal itself and get through long battles. Keep it away from jani and umeme attacks, though.

Where to find it

Kaato is common on the Central Island map and the Green Island map – ideal for your first catching attempts, for which a Kioo dhaifu is all you need. Later you can find it occasionally on Route 8 – Beach. From level 32 it evolves into Kaakuu.
