Types and type chart
Which type beats which? How to read the type chart, how two types work together – and how to use it all in battle.

Every Mebuly and every attack has a type. When an attack hits a Mebuly, the two types decide how well it works. Know your types and you will win fights that raw power alone could never win.
How to read the chart
The rows show the type of the attack, the columns the type of the Mebuly being hit. Find the row of your attack and follow it to the column of your opponent. + means effective, − not very effective and ✕ immune – the attack does nothing at all. Empty cells are neutral. What counts is the type of the attack, not the type of the Mebuly using it.
Mebulys with two types
Many Mebulys have two types, and then both count. Two strengths make an attack very effective (++). Two weaknesses make it barely effective (−−). One strength and one weakness cancel each other out. If either type is immune, the attack fizzles out completely.
- Bulutos has the types
su and
uçuş. Attacks of the
elektrik type are effective against both – so they are very effective. - Kütükos has the types
yaprak and
toprak. Attacks of the
uçuş type are very effective, while its
toprak type makes it immune to
elektrik attacks. - Kabukos has the types
su and
kaya. Attacks of the
yaprak type are very effective,
ateş attacks are barely effective.
Immunities
These combinations do nothing at all – the battle shows “immune” (attack → Mebuly):
normal →
hayalet
elektrik →
toprak
toprak →
uçuş and
hayalet
psy and
hayalet →
makine
makine →
hayalet
Battle tips
- Mix up your team: five Mebulys with different types cover each other's weaknesses.
- Give each Mebuly attacks of two different types. That way it still has an answer against opponents that shrug off its main type.
- Almost every type is not very effective against itself – fire against fire gets you nowhere. The big exception is
hayalet: attacks of the
hayalet type are actually effective against
hayalet Mebulys. - Attacks of the
normal type are never effective, but they make a safe backup: only
kaya shrugs them off, and only
hayalet is immune. - Wet makes opponents vulnerable: while a Mebuly is wet,
elektrik and
buz attacks hit harder. Soak it with water first, then follow up with electric or ice – more under Status effects.

Rows: type of the attack. Columns: type of the Mebuly that is hit. If a Mebuly has two types, both count: two strengths make it “very effective” (++), two weaknesses “barely effective” (−−), and a strength and a weakness cancel each other out. If one of the two types is immune, the attack does no damage.
