Linked Accounts

BITMEUP, Steam, Twitch and Facebook: which accounts you can connect with Mebula and what you get out of it.

You can play Mebula in several ways. To make everything fit together, your accounts can be linked with each other. Your BITMEUP account is always at the centre.

BITMEUP

In the browser you play with your BITMEUP account. It connects all BITMEUP games and is required for the BITMEUP Missions and their Bits, the Pioneer Path, feedback and Twitch Drops (Account Management).

Steam

Mebula is available for free on Steam, with its own client for Windows and macOS. When you start it via Steam for the first time, you automatically get your own Steam Mebula account – no BITMEUP account is needed for this (Mebula on Steam).

If you link your Steam account with your BITMEUP account, you can also play your Steam Mebula account in the browser: it appears on the character selection with the tag [STEAM]. It does not work the other way round – your browser accounts are not available in the Steam client.

Twitch

If you connect your Twitch account with your BITMEUP account, you can collect rewards for watching during Twitch Drops campaigns. They go to your BITMEUP inventory. In the Steam client, the “Twitch Drops” section in the settings shows whether BITMEUP and Twitch are already linked.

Facebook

In the past, Mebula could also be played via Facebook. New players start via BITMEUP or Steam today. If you still have an old Facebook account and questions about it, support will help you (Support & Feedback).
