Chat
Global, map, order, group and whisper: how to use the chat in Mebula, switch channels with commands and report inappropriate messages.

The chat is where you meet other trainers, arrange battles and get help. Before you can use it, you have to agree once in the chat settings: if there is a suspected rule violation, the team may read your messages. Without this consent, the chat stays closed for you.
Channels
- Global: all players who are currently online.
- Map: all players on your current map. When you change maps, the channel switches automatically.
- Order: only the members of your order (Orders).
- Group: only your group (Groups).
- Whisper: a private message to a single player who is online.
Switching channels with commands
Type a command followed by a space at the start of the line, and the chat jumps to the matching channel:
/global, /a or /2: global
/map, /m or /1: map
/order, /o or /g: order
/group, /party or /p: group
/w Name: whisper to that player
A message can be up to 250 characters long. You can pick the channel from the drop-down list on the left of the chat bar, too, and the colour of the input field shows where you are writing. Whispering also works through the context menu: click on a player and choose “whisper”.
Settings
In the settings under “Chat”, you choose which channels you want to see, the colour of each channel, whether a time stamp is shown, the text size and whether the chat also appears during battles (Settings).
Reporting messages
You do not have to put up with insults, scams or spam. Click on the sender's name in the chat and choose “Report message”. Describe briefly and precisely what happened. If the message is too old, contact support with the date and time (Support & Feedback).
