When you create your character, you choose one of three starter Mebulys: Bimbóka of type
Levél, Pislácska of type
Tűz or Csöppi of type
víz. All three evolve twice – at level 20 and at level 40 – and gain a second type in their final form.
- Bimbóka → Sarjadó → Lombardó (
Levél and
föld) - Pislácska → Perzselő → Lángforgó (
Tűz and
repülési) - Csöppi → Csöppusz → Zápusz (
víz and
repülési)
The type triangle
The three form a classic triangle:
Levél attacks work well against
víz,
víz attacks work well against
Tűz and
Tűz attacks work well against
Levél. Against Mebulys of its own type, on the other hand, each starter achieves little. You find the full chart under Types and type chart.
The three compared
Bimbóka is an attacker: lots of attack power, but little defense. Its final form Lombardó is one of the hardest hitters in the game and has lots of health, but it is very slow. Bimbóka is weak against
Tűz,
repülési and
jég. Lombardó is immune to
elektromos, but
repülési attacks hit it very hard.
Pislácska has good attack values and the highest critical hit chance of the three. Its final form Lángforgó becomes very fast and strong in Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game). Pislácska is weak against
víz,
szikla and
föld. Lángforgó is immune to
föld, but
szikla attacks hit it very hard.
Csöppi is the sturdy one: high defense, but less attack power. Csöppusz brings lots of health, and the final form Zápusz is balanced and well protected. Csöppi is weak against
Levél and
elektromos. Zápusz is immune to
föld, but
elektromos attacks hit it very hard.
What does this mean for the first masters?
The first master (Nibori mester) relies mainly on Mebulys of type
repülési: they hurt Bimbóka badly, while Pislácska withstands them well. With the second master (Kohana) everything revolves around
Levél – here Pislácska shines and Csöppi has a hard time. The third master (Nami mester) fights with
víz: now Bimbóka has the advantage and Pislácska the disadvantage.
Your choice is not final: you can get the other two starter Mebulys later in the shop as companions for gold (Mebulys in the shop). By the way, starter Mebulys and their evolutions cannot be released – they stay loyal to you.
