コガモ

The duckling コガモ (水 and フライト) waddles across your path on the very first islands – tough, hard to hit and quite different later on.

アヒルの子コガモは、メブ地域の水辺でよちよち歩いたり水しぶきをあげたりするのが好きです。パンを食べさせたり、かまってもらったりするのが好きです。しかし、それでも彼の敵には注意が必要です。

In battle

コガモ is more of a defender than an attacker: decent health, a high Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) and a good evasion chance make it tough. Its Ki attack, on the other hand, is among the weakest in the game. It is very vulnerable to 電気の attacks but immune to 大地 attacks.

Where to find it and evolution

コガモ is one of the most common companions early on: you'll meet it often on the maps Green Island and Route 1, and occasionally on Route 2, Route 3, Route 4 and in the forests. From level 28 you can evolve it into ヨダレガモ – and its フライト type turns into 精神!
