In battle

蝶蛹茧's defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are among the highest in the whole game, and it has plenty of health too. Its Ki attack, on the other hand, is the weakest of all Mebulys, and its normal attacks don't achieve much either. In a team, 蝶蛹茧 is a tough blocker that soaks up hits while the others deal the damage. Only 火, 飞行 and 冰 attacks really get through its shell.

Evolution

蝶蛹茧 evolves from 蝶幼虫 at level 12 and can become 幻彩蝶 as early as level 14 – one of the shortest in-between stages in the game. You start the evolution yourself in the team window. So you won't have to live with its weak attacks for long: two levels of training, and a 叶子 and 飞行 butterfly hatches from the pupa.
