Chrysalor

The pupa between Larvalite and Flitterly: Chrysalor of the leaf type hides in a nearly unbreakable shell but barely hits back – a short stop on the way.

Chrysalor has retired into its cocoon to perform his metamorphosis. Its protective layer is particularly strong to ward off enemies.

In battle

Chrysalor's defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are among the highest in the whole game, and it has plenty of health too. Its Ki attack, on the other hand, is the weakest of all Mebulys, and its normal attacks don't achieve much either. In a team, Chrysalor is a tough blocker that soaks up hits while the others deal the damage. Only fire, flight and ice attacks really get through its shell.

Evolution

Chrysalor evolves from Larvalite at level 12 and can become Flitterly as early as level 14 – one of the shortest in-between stages in the game. You start the evolution yourself in the team window. So you won't have to live with its weak attacks for long: two levels of training, and a leaf and flight butterfly hatches from the pupa.
