The pupa between 꼬물이 and 팔랑나비: 번데기 of the 잎 type hides in a nearly unbreakable shell but barely hits back – a short stop on the way.

In battle

번데기's defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are among the highest in the whole game, and it has plenty of health too. Its Ki attack, on the other hand, is the weakest of all Mebulys, and its normal attacks don't achieve much either. In a team, 번데기 is a tough blocker that soaks up hits while the others deal the damage. Only 불, 비행 and 얼음 attacks really get through its shell.

Evolution

번데기 evolves from 꼬물이 at level 12 and can become 팔랑나비 as early as level 14 – one of the shortest in-between stages in the game. You start the evolution yourself in the team window. So you won't have to live with its weak attacks for long: two levels of training, and a 잎 and 비행 butterfly hatches from the pupa.
