Peculiarity

Whenever you get a new Mebuly, it randomly receives one of three peculiarities. You can find it in the team window in your Mebuly's overview. Each peculiarity gives +5% to certain stats:

• aggressive, brave: +5% attack and Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game)
• defensive, tough: +5% defense and Ki defense
• swift, focused: +5% speed

The team window shows the bonus separately from the base value, so you can see exactly what the peculiarity adds. It gets more valuable as your Mebuly levels up, since the bonus grows along with its stats.

Which peculiarity fits?

• Mebulys with high attack or Ki attack benefit from aggressive, brave – they hit even harder.
• Mebulys with lots of health and good defenses turn into real tanks with defensive, tough.
• Fast Mebulys go well with swift, focused: they win more ties for the next turn, and the extra speed also slightly raises crit and evasion chance.

Choosing a new peculiarity

If the peculiarity doesn't fit, the Potion of variety can help. You can buy it from the merchants in Dusty Town for 500 gold. Use it on your Mebuly from your bag: the old peculiarity disappears, and you can freely pick any of the three in the team window.
