Master Dschibait

After your third medal, a girl in Wave Crest tells you that Master Dschi just rushed off to his lab (quest “Master Dschi”). You find him at the entrance of the thunder cave on Route 11. An earthquake has damaged his facility: you inspect the damage with him, collect Copper tube and wire from the Mebulys in the cave in “Blasting”, and start four main controllers in “Starting controller” – past lots of technicians who think you are an intruder. After that, he is ready to fight.

Team and types

All five of Master Dschibait's Mebulys have the electric type: Jolthon, Magnetus and Gigatec (both plus machine), Goblitz (plus flight) and Orbolix (plus ice). Expect lots of electric attacks.

• Good against him: attacks of the earth type are effective against almost all of them, and even very effective against Magnetus and Gigatec. Attacks of the fire type are effective against Magnetus, Gigatec and Orbolix. Only Goblitz is immune to earth – use rock or ice on it instead.
• Bad against him: attacks of the psy and ghost types do nothing against Magnetus and Gigatec, and your own electric attacks will not get you far here. Mebulys of the water and flight types are especially vulnerable to his lightning.
