Vonkiet

Vonkiet is a cheeky little bird of the vlucht type: the reward of the very first quest and at home on all the starting islands.

Klein maar krachtig! - Dat is het motto van Vonkiet. Hij is nog geen koning van de lucht, maar hij is hoe dan ook een tegenstander die niet onderschat moet worden.
Description from the Mebula library

In battle

Vonkiet relies on its attack, which is remarkably high for such a small bird. Apart from that, it has little to offer: its health, defense and Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are low. So use normal attacks such as bek from level 10 rather than its weak Ki attacks.

Where to find it

Besides being the reward of the quest “Welcome young student”, Vonkiet is common on all four starting islands and on Route 1, and later appears occasionally all the way into the forest. Since it evolves into Krasser from level 15 and levels up quickly, it is worth taking along early.
