Chechuku

Chechuku is a cheeky little bird of the ndege type: the reward of the very first quest and at home on all the starting islands.

In battle

Chechuku relies on its attack, which is remarkably high for such a small bird. Apart from that, it has little to offer: its health, defense and Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) are low. So use normal attacks such as mdomo from level 10 rather than its weak Ki attacks.

Where to find it

Besides being the reward of the quest “Welcome young student”, Chechuku is common on all four starting islands and on Route 1, and later appears occasionally all the way into the forest. Since it evolves into Mwewezi from level 15 and levels up quickly, it is worth taking along early.
