Păienjel

Something glittering in the bushes at dawn? That's probably Păienjel: this little frunze spider spins webs and fights with poison and psychic powers.

In battle

Păienjel is versatile: high Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game), solid attack and a good evasion chance. It can only take a moderate amount of damage, though. Its poison attacks such as înțepătură otrăvitoare and spori otrăvitori also deal damage over time, and with vedere psi and later mușcătură psi it carries psi attacks too – handy against fantomă Mebulys.

Where to find it and evolution

Păienjel is widespread. You'll meet it most often on the maps Route 2 and Spider Lake, but occasionally in many other areas too, from the starting area all the way into the forest. Wild Păienjel sometimes drop a Glandă otrăvitoare in battle – exactly what the daily quest “Healing Poison” asks for. From level 32 you can evolve it into Păianjoi.
