Arañín

Something glittering in the bushes at dawn? That's probably Arañín: this little hoja spider spins webs and fights with poison and psychic powers.

In battle

Arañín is versatile: high Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game), solid attack and a good evasion chance. It can only take a moderate amount of damage, though. Its poison attacks such as aguijón venenoso and esporas de veneno also deal damage over time, and with vista psi and later mordida psi it carries psi attacks too – handy against fantasma Mebulys.

Where to find it and evolution

Arañín is widespread. You'll meet it most often on the maps Route 2 and Spider Lake, but occasionally in many other areas too, from the starting area all the way into the forest. Wild Arañín sometimes drop a Glándula venenosa in battle – exactly what the daily quest “Healing Poison” asks for. From level 32 you can evolve it into Arañón.
