Guru Dschibait

After your third medal, a girl in Wave Crest tells you that Master Dschi just rushed off to his lab (quest “Master Dschi”). You find him at the entrance of the thunder cave on Route 11. An earthquake has damaged his facility: you inspect the damage with him, collect Tabung tembaga and kabel from the Mebulys in the cave in “Blasting”, and start four main controllers in “Starting controller” – past lots of technicians who think you are an intruder. After that, he is ready to fight.

Team and types

All five of Guru Dschibait's Mebulys have the listrik type: Petirsawa, Tarikus and Gigatrum (both plus mesin), Kilajin (plus penerbangan) and Bolatrum (plus es). Expect lots of electric attacks.

• Good against him: attacks of the bumi type are effective against almost all of them, and even very effective against Tarikus and Gigatrum. Attacks of the api type are effective against Tarikus, Gigatrum and Bolatrum. Only Kilajin is immune to bumi – use batu or es on it instead.
• Bad against him: attacks of the psi and hantu types do nothing against Tarikus and Gigatrum, and your own electric attacks will not get you far here. Mebulys of the air and penerbangan types are especially vulnerable to his lightning.
