Maestro Dschibait

After your third medal, a girl in Wave Crest tells you that Master Dschi just rushed off to his lab (quest “Master Dschi”). You find him at the entrance of the thunder cave on Route 11. An earthquake has damaged his facility: you inspect the damage with him, collect Tubo di rame and filo from the Mebulys in the cave in “Blasting”, and start four main controllers in “Starting controller” – past lots of technicians who think you are an intruder. After that, he is ready to fight.

Team and types

All five of Maestro Dschibait's Mebulys have the elettrico type: Elettrofide, Calamitone and Gigachip (both plus macchina), Folgoretto (plus volo) and Fulmix (plus ghiaccio). Expect lots of electric attacks.

• Good against him: attacks of the terra type are effective against almost all of them, and even very effective against Calamitone and Gigachip. Attacks of the fuoco type are effective against Calamitone, Gigachip and Fulmix. Only Folgoretto is immune to terra – use roccia or ghiaccio on it instead.
• Bad against him: attacks of the psy and fantasma types do nothing against Calamitone and Gigachip, and your own electric attacks will not get you far here. Mebulys of the acqua and volo types are especially vulnerable to his lightning.
