Once a little fairy, then mutated: Foofu is a nimble psy Mebuly with a good evasion chance – and the start of a dark transformation.

Foofu was once a little fairy, but one night something terrible happened and Foofu mutated and became what it is now. But nobody knows if it remains like this or gets even worse.

In battle

Foofu is fragile: its health and defense are low. On the other hand, it dodges well and has a solid Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game). With psi view and psi fog it can confuse opponents so they dodge less and land fewer critical hits. As a ghost attack, it learns dark glimpse early, which can also deal damage over time.

Where to find it and evolution

Foofu isn't an everyday sight: it only rarely shows up on the maps Route 2 and Route 3. Once you've caught one, you can evolve it into Frownfu from level 18 – and later, from level 42, into Fangalor.
