Frownfu

The mutation goes on: Frownfu is the malicious middle stage of the Foofu family – with strong psychic powers and quick feet.

The progressive mutation makes Frownfu becoming a malicious creature. One should be very careful in his presence to himself and his friends.

In battle

With a high Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) and good speed, Frownfu often gets to act early and hits hard. It can't take much in return, as its defense and Ki defense are only average. At level 27 it learns psi wave, at level 32 dark vision – two strong psy Ki attacks. It can heal in between with body and soul.

How to get it

Most trainers evolve a Foofu from level 18. Wild Frownfu are rare and live on the map Route 5 – Thorn Path. From level 42, Frownfu finally becomes Fangalor.
