Boo! Hauntler is waiting around the next corner: a small ghost Mebuly that is immune to normal, earth and machine attacks.

You do not believe in ghosts? Then you haven't met Hauntler yet. Perhaps he is waiting just around the next corner to scare someone.

In battle

Hauntler's most important trait is its type: normal, earth and machine attacks simply pass right through it. That makes it worth its weight in gold against opponents that rely on normal attacks. Otherwise its stats are modest – only its Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) and evasion chance are high. Attacks of the psy and ghost types are dangerous for it.

How to get it

Wild Hauntler are very rare: with a lot of luck you'll meet them on the maps Route 5 – Thorn Path and Route 9 – Shipwreck. The shop is much more reliable, as it regularly offers Hauntler as Mebuly of the week for 1,500 gold (see Mebulys in the shop). From level 16 you can evolve it into Phantast.
