Saplion

From level 20, Sproutly becomes Saplion: a feisty leaf fighter that already deals solid damage on its way to becoming Timberton.

To sit still is nothing for Saplion, he likes to take the initiative and thereby is often infuriating his opponents.

Role in your team

Compared to Sproutly, Saplion mainly gains attack – it ranks among the 20 highest of all Mebulys. Its speed goes up a little as well. Defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) stay average to weak, so Saplion prefers dealing damage to taking it. From level 33 it can learn synthesis to heal itself in the middle of a battle.

The road ahead

You only get Saplion by evolving Sproutly from level 20 – you will not meet it in the wild. From level 40 it can evolve into Timberton, which gains the earth type as well. Until then, choke tendrils and solar missles are reliable leaf attacks.
