Retoñón

From level 20, Brotín becomes Retoñón: a feisty hoja fighter that already deals solid damage on its way to becoming Frondón.

Role in your team

Compared to Brotín, Retoñón mainly gains attack – it ranks among the 20 highest of all Mebulys. Its speed goes up a little as well. Defense and Ki defense (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) stay average to weak, so Retoñón prefers dealing damage to taking it. From level 33 it can learn síntesis to heal itself in the middle of a battle.

The road ahead

You only get Retoñón by evolving Brotín from level 20 – you will not meet it in the wild. From level 40 it can evolve into Frondón, which gains the tierra type as well. Until then, zarcillos estranguladores and misiles solares are reliable hoja attacks.
