Maestro Ishu

After your third medal, you meet Maestro Ishu in front of the colosseum in Dusty Town. He is just setting off on an expedition into the pyramid and will take you along if you help out. In “Prepare expedition” you bring him supplies: manzana, Poción de maná poderosa, Hechizo de protección, Agua de Wave Crest, Potente poción curativa and Gran Elixir. In “Expedition to the pyramid” you meet him in front of the pyramid on Route 6, and in “The grave chamber” you fight your way past 20 archaeologists. After that, he faces you inside the pyramid.

Team and types

Maestro Ishu's team revolves around the roca and tierra types: Arenón (hoja and tierra), Rocosaurio (roca and vuelo), Rocopiente and Peñascón (both roca and tierra) plus Caparazón (agua and roca). Expect mostly tierra and roca attacks.

• Good against him: attacks of the agua type are effective against Rocosaurio, Rocopiente and Peñascón, while attacks of the hoja type are effective against Rocopiente and Peñascón and even very effective against Caparazón. Arenón calls for something else: against it, vuelo is very effective, and hielo and fuego are effective.
• Bad against him: attacks of the eléctrico type do nothing against Arenón, Rocopiente and Peñascón, and fuego and normal attacks bounce off rock. Mebulys of the fuego type really feel his earth and rock attacks, Mebulys of the eléctrico type mainly his earth attacks.
