Small, dainty and hard to crack: अंगारू, a आग and धरती Mebuly from the volcano island, is a rewarding first catch.

In battle

अंगारू's big strength is its defense – one of the highest in the whole game. Normal hits barely scratch it, and it handles Ki attacks (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) reasonably well too. Dealing damage is another story: its attack and especially its Ki attack are low. With चमक गेंद and आग का गोला it can set enemies on fire so they keep taking damage over time, and पुन: उत्पन्न करने वाली ज्वाला heals it. Attacks of the इलेक्ट्रिक type have no effect on अंगारू at all.

Where to find it and evolution

अंगारू is a common sight on the map Volcano Island, usually at a low level – a perfect first target for a कमजोर क्रिस्टल. From level 32 you can evolve it into तपकच्छप, an ancient giant that is even tougher but very slow.
