Fiammino

Small, dainty and hard to crack: Fiammino, a fuoco and terra Mebuly from the volcano island, is a rewarding first catch.

In battle

Fiammino's big strength is its defense – one of the highest in the whole game. Normal hits barely scratch it, and it handles Ki attacks (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) reasonably well too. Dealing damage is another story: its attack and especially its Ki attack are low. With palla luminosa and bolide it can set enemies on fire so they keep taking damage over time, and fiamma rigenerante heals it. Attacks of the elettrico type have no effect on Fiammino at all.

Where to find it and evolution

Fiammino is a common sight on the map Volcano Island, usually at a low level – a perfect first target for a Cristallo debole. From level 32 you can evolve it into Vulcaruga, an ancient giant that is even tougher but very slow.
