불펭귄

Small, dainty and hard to crack: 불펭귄, a 불 and 땅 Mebuly from the volcano island, is a rewarding first catch.

In battle

불펭귄's big strength is its defense – one of the highest in the whole game. Normal hits barely scratch it, and it handles Ki attacks (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) reasonably well too. Dealing damage is another story: its attack and especially its Ki attack are low. With 글로우 볼 and 화구 it can set enemies on fire so they keep taking damage over time, and 재생 불꽃 heals it. Attacks of the 전기 type have no effect on 불펭귄 at all.

Where to find it and evolution

불펭귄 is a common sight on the map Volcano Island, usually at a low level – a perfect first target for a 약한 수정. From level 32 you can evolve it into 화산거북, an ancient giant that is even tougher but very slow.
