ヒノピン

Small, dainty and hard to crack: ヒノピン, a 火 and 大地 Mebuly from the volcano island, is a rewarding first catch.

ヒノピンは特に熱い溶岩環境を好みます。ここでは、誰にも邪魔されずに火遊びをしたり、その地域を歩き回ったりすることができます。彼はもっと小柄に見えても、とても上手に身を守ることができます。

In battle

ヒノピン's big strength is its defense – one of the highest in the whole game. Normal hits barely scratch it, and it handles Ki attacks (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game) reasonably well too. Dealing damage is another story: its attack and especially its Ki attack are low. With グローボール and 火の玉 it can set enemies on fire so they keep taking damage over time, and 再生する炎 heals it. Attacks of the 電気の type have no effect on ヒノピン at all.

Where to find it and evolution

ヒノピン is a common sight on the map Volcano Island, usually at a low level – a perfect first target for a 弱い結晶. From level 32 you can evolve it into ヨウガメ, an ancient giant that is even tougher but very slow.
