Vongolina

The little shell Vongolina (acqua and ghiaccio) is rock-hard – but only on the outside. You can already find it on the starting islands.

In battle

Vongolina has one of the best defense values in the game and plenty of health – normal attacks break their teeth on its shell. That makes it all the more sensitive to Ki attacks (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game), because its Ki defense is among the lowest. It doesn't deal much damage either. Its moves hide a neat combo, though: bolle can make the enemy wet, and wet Mebulys take more damage from ghiaccio attacks such as ghiacciolo.

Where to find it and evolution

You can occasionally meet Vongolina on the maps Beach Island and Central Island, at a very low level. Stronger ones show up later along the coasts of Route 8 – Beach and Route 9 – Shipwreck. From level 36 you can evolve it into Vongolone.
