Maestro Ishu

After your third medal, you meet Maestro Ishu in front of the colosseum in Dusty Town. He is just setting off on an expedition into the pyramid and will take you along if you help out. In “Prepare expedition” you bring him supplies: mela, Potente pozione di mana, Incantesimo di protezione, Acqua di Wave Crest, Potente pozione curativa and Grande Elisir. In “Expedition to the pyramid” you meet him in front of the pyramid on Route 6, and in “The grave chamber” you fight your way past 20 archaeologists. After that, he faces you inside the pyramid.

Team and types

Maestro Ishu's team revolves around the roccia and terra types: Piramidone (foglia and terra), Pietrosauro (roccia and volo), Petrofide and Franone (both roccia and terra) plus Corazzone (acqua and roccia). Expect mostly terra and roccia attacks.

• Good against him: attacks of the acqua type are effective against Pietrosauro, Petrofide and Franone, while attacks of the foglia type are effective against Petrofide and Franone and even very effective against Corazzone. Piramidone calls for something else: against it, volo is very effective, and ghiaccio and fuoco are effective.
• Bad against him: attacks of the elettrico type do nothing against Piramidone, Petrofide and Franone, and fuoco and normale attacks bounce off rock. Mebulys of the fuoco type really feel his earth and rock attacks, Mebulys of the elettrico type mainly his earth attacks.
