Psyclone

Psyclone is a moody whirlwind of the vol type: lightning fast, hard to pin down – and only obtainable through a special quest line.

In battle

Psyclone is one of the five fastest Mebulys in the game. Its other stats are balanced – no real weakness, but no peak either. What makes it special is its choice of attacks: besides many vol attacks, it learns tempête de flammes of the feu type from level 34, and even blizzard of the glace type at level 50.

The quest line

Psyclone does not roam freely in the wild. On Route 3, a researcher wants to build a device that can summon Psyclone. You buy the rare parts for it from three merchants who are not always there – afterwards you face a wild Psyclone (level 20) and can seal it with a crystal. A daily follow-up quest summons it again in exchange for even more parts.
