Waanhoos

Waanhoos is a moody whirlwind of the vlucht type: lightning fast, hard to pin down – and only obtainable through a special quest line.

Waanhoos verschijnt snel, hij verandert vaak van richting waardoor het moeilijk is voor zijn tegenstanders om hem te pakken te krijgen. Maar zo snel als hij verscheen, zo snel is hij ook weer weg.

In battle

Waanhoos is one of the five fastest Mebulys in the game. Its other stats are balanced – no real weakness, but no peak either. What makes it special is its choice of attacks: besides many vlucht attacks, it learns vlammenstorm of the vuur type from level 34, and even sneeuwstorm of the ijs type at level 50.

The quest line

Waanhoos does not roam freely in the wild. On Route 3, a researcher wants to build a device that can summon Waanhoos. You buy the rare parts for it from three merchants who are not always there – afterwards you face a wild Waanhoos (level 20) and can seal it with a crystal. A daily follow-up quest summons it again in exchange for even more parts.
