When you create your character, you choose one of three starter Mebulys: Klíčik of type
list, Plamienik of type
oheň or Kvapík of type
voda. All three evolve twice – at level 20 and at level 40 – and gain a second type in their final form.
- Klíčik → Sadenko → Stromoň (
list and
zem) - Plamienik → Plameňoš → Plamovír (
oheň and
let) - Kvapík → Kvapkus → Oblakon (
voda and
let)
The type triangle
The three form a classic triangle:
list attacks work well against
voda,
voda attacks work well against
oheň and
oheň attacks work well against
list. Against Mebulys of its own type, on the other hand, each starter achieves little. You find the full chart under Types and type chart.
The three compared
Klíčik is an attacker: lots of attack power, but little defense. Its final form Stromoň is one of the hardest hitters in the game and has lots of health, but it is very slow. Klíčik is weak against
oheň,
let and
ľad. Stromoň is immune to
elektrický, but
let attacks hit it very hard.
Plamienik has good attack values and the highest critical hit chance of the three. Its final form Plamovír becomes very fast and strong in Ki attack (Ki is shown as “AI” in the game). Plamienik is weak against
voda,
skala and
zem. Plamovír is immune to
zem, but
skala attacks hit it very hard.
Kvapík is the sturdy one: high defense, but less attack power. Kvapkus brings lots of health, and the final form Oblakon is balanced and well protected. Kvapík is weak against
list and
elektrický. Oblakon is immune to
zem, but
elektrický attacks hit it very hard.
What does this mean for the first masters?
The first master (Majster Nibori) relies mainly on Mebulys of type
let: they hurt Klíčik badly, while Plamienik withstands them well. With the second master (Kohana) everything revolves around
list – here Plamienik shines and Kvapík has a hard time. The third master (Majsterka Nami) fights with
voda: now Klíčik has the advantage and Plamienik the disadvantage.
Your choice is not final: you can get the other two starter Mebulys later in the shop as companions for gold (Mebulys in the shop). By the way, starter Mebulys and their evolutions cannot be released – they stay loyal to you.
